What can Broadband Wireless Data do
for me?
The equipment Telecom sells is capable of providing
broadband wireless data pipes for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connections. These devices are currently
available at speeds from 1.544Mbps (T1) to 155 Mbps (OC-3), and are significantly more cost effective than their wired counterparts.
Connections made using our wireless solutions typically
have a 5 figure availability that exceeds 99.995% uptime per year, even in severe weather conditions.
What can low Speed Wireless Data do
for me?
Telecom operates a low speed public data network called
Widanet which has Island wide coverage. The system is highly reliable,
secure and has been built to ensure that the network has outstanding resilience
with fully redundant sites, switches and base stations. Widanet is ideal
for low speed (1200bps) applications such as wireless Point of Sale, ATM
machines, Alarm monitoring, telemetry and tracking technologies. At $25
per month for the basic service no other technology can beat the value
and reliability of this outstanding and globally proven technology.
